Jennifer Hudson during the premiere of Lifetime’s “Call Me Crazy”
What do you think of JHud in this mix print ensemble from Emanuel Ungaro’s Fall 2013 collection?
Are you feeling the leopard print mixed with polka dots?
Everyone knows when you walk into a Target store you’ll never come out empty handed. Well, in my case I never can!
Target has stylish, quality and affordable clothing that fashion fiends could never pass up.
I was going through a Target ad when I came across a pair of flat leopard print shoes that were on sale for $14.00. From that second I realized I must have them!

When I finally arrived at Target I bypassed the clothing (which was torture for me) and went straight to the shoe department. When I arrived I found the shoes but they were marked $19.99 (Which I soon found out was a different pair from the ones in the ad). I was thinking the sales ad that I saw them in was old, but it didn’t matter, I wanted the shoes.
The shoes that I ended up buying were the Mossimo leopard print Vianca Tuxedo Flats which are better looking and of better quality then the ones I’d seen in the sales ad.

After I grabbed my flats, the clearance section whispered my name and I spotted another great find on the rack. A pair of leopard print platform pumps. Sadly the down fall was that they only had this shoe in a size 6 1/2 and 8, I wear a size 7 decisions, decisions, decisions. This shoe was marked down to $14.99. I wanted these shoes especially at this price. So I tried on the 8 and it was too big in the back, then I tried the 6 1/2 on and they were a little snug but oh well the 6 1/2 it is. I grabbed both shoes and headed to the register with a quick stop to the accessory department.
Get this shoe at your local Target
A few days later I decided to go to another Target store to see if they had a size 7 in the leopard print platform pump (pictured above), but no such luck. But I did luck up on a pair of tassel pink flats that were marked down to $9.98, what another great deal to find.

I lucked up on three pairs of stylish shoes for under $50 bucks. A deal I couldn’t possibly pass up. The best time to score awesome deals are during the season changes, since fall is coming all the summer stuff is getting marked down.
So what are you waiting for, grab your wallet and head to Target and get to shopping!

eloquii, eloquii plus size, Fashionable Clothing for Plus-Size Women from eloquii by The Limited, full figured wear, Jodi Arnold, Plus Size clothing. fashionable plus size, Somerset Collection, The Limited eloquii
Thursday, April 26, 2012 The Limited launched their new full figured line eloquii, which is headed by fashion designer Jodi Arnold. The line debuted at The Limited (the first Limited store nationwide to launch the line) in Somerset Collection in Troy, Mi. I had a chance to get a little one on one time with the designer to ask her a few questions about her new collection.
The only other place to buy eloquii is online.
How do you pronounce the name of this collection?
What does eloquii mean? Does it stand for anything?
Its sort of a combination of the words Elegant and Soliloquy. We had a branding company that came up with it, we wanted something elegant and individual for her.
What was your inspiration for the line?
The line came about because the CEO (of The Limited) Linda Heasley kept getting customers coming up to her asking why didn’t they offer plus size clothing. Some women had given birth over the years or encountered other life changes that caused them to gain weight resulting in them no longer being able to wear The Limited clothing. Since there’s not many choices in the plus size market, she wanted to offer these women fashionable choices with great quality, so thats how it came about and they launched it in November of 2011. We really want to bring quality and fashionable clothes to the plus size women, with more work ascetics.
How does this line stand out from the Lane Bryant’s and other plus size stores?
Well, what we hear is Lane Bryant clothes doesn’t last, it’s poor quality, or there aren’t enough options for work wear or it’s not a sophisticated aesthetic. We don’t want bash anyone else but, thats were we come in.
So this is the first eloquii (inside The Limited)?
Yes, we only launched online, so we decided to test a few stores in The Limited stores. We chose Somerset because it’s a large footprint and we want her (the customer) to feel like she has her own separate space, we didn’t want to just cram plus sizes clothing into part of the store,we want to make her feel as if she has her own boutique.
Do you plan out branching out from The Limited opening up a eloquii all on its own?
Yes, but first were going to do six shop in shops like this one, which we plan on opening before June 15. Then we’ll be opening up our own eloquii stores in the near future.
So what seasons trends have you incorporated into eloquii?
We tried to give her everything that was on the runway, she wants to wear everything her thinner friend is wearing so were trying to tell her that she too can wear stripes, skinny jeans , etc. We don’t want her to feel that just because she’s plus size she cant follow the trends, so were showing her how she can wear them and giving her all the trends from the runway.
Is the line budget friendly?
Yes, I feel as if were in line with where the competition is, I’ve read online, where some customers feel that our clothing is expensive, but we always have amazing sales, so when they actually buy and wear our pieces, they see that it last much longer and thats what the price is about.
So what advice do you have for full figured women who want to dress fashionable but feel as if they can’t pull it off because of their size?
I think you really have to open your mind and try it, on our website we try and show models styled a bunch of different ways showing them how to wear that collection for that season, and were finding that she (the customer) ends up buying the entire look head to toe. The thing is she hasn’t been given the option or had someone who really showed her what and how to wear it, once she realizes how to wear the different styles and sees someone her size wearing it she’ll realize she can wear it too.

According to WWD, Christian Louboutin is set to design his version of Cinderella’s famous glass slipper. Knowing what an amazing shoe designer Christian Louboutin is, one can only imagine how he’s going create a red bottom glass slipper. I know this shoe is going to break the bank, since his price points starts at $600 and up.
In celebration of this classic animated movie, Cinderella is being released on Blu-Ray and DVD this fall. Along with the re-release of the movie, Louboutin will debut his version of the “Glass Slipper” in honor of the Disney movie.
Who knew Cinderella’s “Glass Slipper” would one day become a “Red Bottom”.

On her way to Oprah’s event at the Lincoln center this evening, former Supermodel and CEO/Founder of IMAN Cosmetics tweeted a photo of herself wearing a lavender tailored tuxedo jacket with a pair of boot-cut tuxedo pants by Rachel Zoe.
There’s something about a woman in a well tailored suit. Iman looks stunning and this suit fits her perfectly. Love the color on her skin tone, I just wish she could have shown us her shoes.
What do you think of Iman’s look?
The rumors are true, H&M has confirmed plans to launch a more expensive higher-end retail chain in 2013.
According to a H&M spokeswoman, “the new brand will cost more than H&M, but it’s not being classified as a luxury label, but it will be a retail chain that will follow the same ambition as H&M, to offer customers the best price for a comparable item.”
H&M’s future retail chain will be called ” & Other Stories”
Can’t wait to see what they have in store…
