Beverly Peeele began her modeling career in 1987 and landed her first magazine cover, Mademoiselle, in 1989. Landing the cover of Mademoiselle made her the first black model to ever be featured on the magazines cover. After Mademoiselle, Peele appeared on over a dozen fashion magazine covers. She was featured in ads for of Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Versace, among many others. She also walked for all the top fashion designers like Chanel and Comme des Garçons. In 1993, Beverly was voted one of the 50 most beautiful people by People Magazine.
