Jennifer Hudson is QVC’s next celebrity designer…
According to WWD Jennifer Hudson is set to launch her own line for QVC. “The Jennifer Hudson Collection”
Jennifer has always been intrigued with fashion and now she’s releasing a line of her own for QVC. After losing 80s pounds and dropping from a size 16 to a size 6, she wants to target her fans who fit that range in sizes.

“I feel like I represent every woman, I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it — no matter what size you are — and you could feel comfortable in it.” – Jennifer Hudson

She incorporated her personal preferences and style into this collection, from earth tones and comfy clothes that elongate the silhouette and flatter the figure. Every piece she designed is something that she herself would wear “It has to be true to me, I would not sign off on it if I would not wear it.”
Her 14 piece collection will consist of leggings, coats, maxi skirts and dresses. The pricing starts at $50.00 with her most expensive item priced at $170.

Jennifer will begin promoting her collection in a one hour premiere on the QVC network on September 10, 2012, returning with new styles in November and December.
From what I see the collection looks good, I just hope the quality is on point with the pricing. Nothing is worse then a designer putting out cheap looking clothes and over charging for them. We shall see!
Would you rock this line?
