Veronica Webb was born February 25, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan.
After moving to New York City to earn her college degree she was discovered on the streets by a New York makeup artist. While in New York, she pursued a modeling career and eventually became a spokesmodel for Revlon causing her to be the first black supermodel to win an exclusive contract for a major cosmetics company.
