Valentine’s Day is less than a week away and not everyone will be celebrating this day with a significant other. But don’t fret, I’ve listed a few ideas on how to spend the day (or any other day) self-pampering yourself.
- Spend the day at a spa
Treat yourself to a well deserved facial, massage, and a mani and Pedi. - Book a room at a hotel
Let someone else do all the work for the day. Order room service, take a bubble bath and binge-watch your favorite tv shows or movies. - Indulge in your favorite meal/dessert
Spend the day enjoying your favorite meal at a fancy restaurant. - Get dressed up and go to brunch
Put on your cutest outfit and start your day off with a nice meal. - Buy yourself flowers
Buy your favorite flowers, put them in a cute vase, and set them in your favorite spot somewhere in your home. - Go to the makeup counter and get a mini makeover
Visit one of your favorite department stores and make a stop at the many makeup counters. Try on some of the season’s hottest colors and get a new look. Don’t forget to take a ton of selfies. - Throw a cocktail party
Invite over a few of your friends that don’t have plans and enjoy some adult beverages, appetizers, and desserts.
Whether you’re single or not, self-pampering can help relieve stress and provide much-needed relaxation.

I’m not really a Valentine’s Day celebrant. I am very much low maintenance. That being said, l celebrate myself whenever l want :-). Spa, brunch..whatever..when the urge hits..there we go. Have a great day.

Such great ideas for self pampering. Although it wasn’t Vday, I did spend the day at the spa last weekend, and my hubby and I have other plans this weekend.

I can appreciate everything listed and I’m married with kids. I know a night in a hotel room alone would be the best valentines day gift ever. 🙂

These are all excellent ideas. Especially the hotel room for when you just want to get away. The experience makes it feel like you’re on a vacation!!!

I had really great intentions on doing a lot of these things. LOL Good thing is I have a few work trips coming up that I will be able to sneak in some self-pamering time.

I wish I could’ve spent Valentine’s Day doing any of these things! However, you said something really important at the end of your post that really resonated with me “self pampering can relieve stress and help with relaxation.” I have to remind myself to just relax!

I have to say, I did a spa day yesterday and it was magical. I told myself no work at all and took a much needed me day. I need to do this more often LOL.

These are great tips! I love the idea of mini-make over. It’s the perfect time freshen up and experiment with a new look for Spring. I just may take this suggestion even though Valentine’s Day has passed. I must have done something this week worthy of a little pampering. lol

I love the idea of getting a mini makeover! It’s the perfect time to experiment with a new look for spring anyway and always super fun to play in new make up.
