Cross Colours
Cross Colours was founded in 1989 in South Central, LA by Carl Jones. It was the first clothing brand created for everyone with a street point of view. The collection was embraced by the rising of the hip hop movement, created based on “Clothing without prejudice.” Cross Colours slogans promoted education and the end of gang violence, which made it iconic and fueled its rise.
With the comeback of 90’s fashion, the demand for streetwear with authenticity and real street credibility has sparked an interest to restart the brand.
After taking a hiatus from designing, Jones is back and picking right up where he left off. The line will continue to represent its core values of individuality and diversity, standing up for one’s self while exercising respect for others. The 2014 collection consist of original graphics and slogans from the 90’s along with new and modern looks.
