Blood, Sweat, and Heels
Sunday, January 5th was the premiere of Bravo’s newest reality show ” Blood, Sweat, and Heels” I tuned in not knowing what to expect or what the show was really about. The only face that I recognized was Melyssa Ford, a former video vixen. The other five cast members include real estate partner Brie Bythewood; modeling agency owner Mica Hughes; Blogger Demetria Lucas; style expert Daisy Lewellyn and last but not least Detroit native Geneva Thomas, a style and pop culture journalist. These women have one common goal, climbing the corporate ladder all the way to the top.

The show for me had a slow start, I even questioned myself as to why I’m still watching. The scene that caught my attention was during Daisy’s Brunch, the ladies were talking about cheating men and snooping through their men’s things. Demetria’s opinion on the whole thing made her my instant favorite. She believes why would you stay in a relationship if you can’t trust your partner. I agree 100%, why waste time snooping, usually, when you go looking for something, you’ll find it. If you can’t trust your mate, why are you in a relationship with that person?

Anywho, I’ll give the show a second chance (thanks to Demetria). From the previews of the next episode, the drama is on its way! Truth be told, if it didn’t come on right after RHOA, I most likely would’ve never watched this show.
At least some of the outfits were cute.

I certainly missed the show but hey… I have missed several. It would make sense for the show to appear right after a hit show. I guess I will be catching the reviews here 🙂
