Episode 5 Review “Detox, Dear, Detox”
This episode starts off basically where it left off from episode 4. Mica walks in Brie’s parent’s backyard in the Hamptons already on “10”. The whole time Brie is telling her to keep it down because her parents are in the house with some guests and she doesn’t want to disturb them.
Mica of course is drunk and she’s emotional. Being in your feelings while drunk is not a good look. No one wants to be around an emotional drunk.
The reason why Mica is acting so belligerent is that her father passed away. Being overly sensitive at this time she felt that Geneva and Demetria thought her situation was amusing. They had no idea about her dad, they were just upset with the way Mica came to the house acting.
Brie ended up calling a cab and sending Mica on her way. I think that Mica should have never gone to the Hamptons, with her father’s recent passing, she should’ve just stayed home.
Meanwhile, Daisy and Melyssa attended a party that Melyssa was getting paid to host. The only reason she decided to host this event was that she’s not bringing in the money like she was during her video vixen days. Hey Melyssa if you want to put that life behind you, you may want to stop hosting and focus on your Real Estate career. Do you think Melyssa, needs to change up her image a bit?
Once back in New York, Mica felt that Brie, Demetria, and Geneva all ganged up on her while in the Hamptons. She informed Daisy and Melyssa of what happened during what was supposed to be their weekend getaway. But of course, they only got one side of the story, Mica’s side. Either way, it goes, if you weren’t there, you never get the full story.
I’m glad that Mica’s cast members are realizing that she has a problem when it comes to alcohol, well some of the girls at least. Hopefully, AA is in her near future.
Seems like more drama is on the rise…
