Did Lindsay Lohan Really Ruin A Borrowed Designer Gown?
Making alterations to a dress doesn’t sound all bad, but when it’s a borrowed dress worth $1,750, there’s a problem. Apparently Charlie Sheen called in a favor from stylist Phillip Bloch to ensure Lindsay Lohan would have a dress to wear for the event. The dress was borrowed from Theia Couture for Lindsay to wear to the American Foundation for AIDS Research New York Gala.
According to Lindsay, she said that the dress had ripped at a club (after the fundraiser) and she couldn’t possibly wear it like that. Someone thought it would be a great idea to borrow some scissors from a bouncer at a club to try and repair the torn part of the dress.
“The dress came back shredded, and you just don’t do that to people. It’s disgusting in the sense that this was a beautiful dress with intricate chains and beading”.
“There was no need to cut the dress… She supposedly had another short dress with her in the car… She said the dress ripped by accident and she got scissors from a bouncer at a club to fix it. She said she didn’t have a choice in the matter. God only knows what really happened.”
A representative for Theia Couture said, “The dress was loaned in good faith to Phillip Bloch, Lindsay Lohan’s stylist”. Given all the trouble that Lindsay has been going through over the past years, I most definitely would not have loaned her anything, if I were the designer she would be paying me the $1,750 plus some.
