When it comes to Target and their designer collaborations, I’m here for it. Target’s Designer Dress Collection, featured pieces by Christopher John Rogers, ALEXIS, and RIXO, which dropped on May 16th.
I had my eye on the floral long sleeve ruffle dress by Christopher John Rogers. But after spacing on the date, most of the dresses were sold out by the time I logged on to Target’s website. Luckily I was able to snag the last floral ruffle dress my local Target had in stock which was a size 4. Not sure if it would fit, but I took a chance and ordered it anyway.
I excitedly headed to the store to pick up my order. My first reaction to the dress was that it’s so BOLD and DRAMATIC. The photos on Target’s website did this dress no justice. When I finally got the chance to try it on, I fell in love with it instantly. Now, if the dress had pockets, it would have taken it to a whole other level.
My favorite thing about this dress is the exaggerated sleeves. They’re so over the top and extra, and I love it. While I was taking photos in this dress, I received so many compliments from passersby.
The overall quality of the dress gets no complaints from me. The dress is made from 48% recycled polyester, 52% polyester, and it’s machine washable. But, I plan on taking it to the dry cleaners to be cleaned.
Today I just purchased another dress from the Christopher John Rogers Target collection. The yellow puff sleeve tie waist volume dress. I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I decided to add it to my wardrobe. I can’t wait to wear it.
Did you score anything from the Target Designer Dress Collection?
