I have some exciting news to share with you guys! I am now a part of thread beauty university class of 2022.
What is thread beauty? It is a Detroit-based brand founded by The Lip Bar’s Melissa Butler. Thread is the first beauty brand designed with the gen-z, BIPOC community as the headline – never the afterthought. The brand believes that makeup is the greatest tool for self-expression, while “also being hella inclusive and welcoming to our allies too!”
For this beauty campaign, all participants received a thread beauty trunk with products from the brand. All the supplies in the box will assist us with the weekly challenges.

I’m happy to be a part of this campaign. Though I’m still a beginner when it comes to makeup, I’m ready to walk out of my comfort zone.
