I remember wearing overalls in high school, during what I call my tomboy phase. This was during the late 90’s early 2000’s so my Tommy Hilfiger denim overalls were super baggy, but hey that was the style back then. When I think about me wearing them, and how unflattering they were, why did I ever leave the house in them? It’s funny looking back on things that I once wore faithfully, to feeling like I never want to wear them again. I’m sure everyone has something that they can’t believe they wore once upon a time ago, but trends change and so do our taste. Through it all fun memories are created.
It’s been a long time since I’ve worn overalls, but lately, I’ve been seeing them popping up on racks at different retailers. They’re back with a different cut and updated look. I did spot a cute skinny leg overall set while I was in Marshalls for about $25.00. I may go back and get them, but the fact that I’m only 5’0, I would have to get them hemmed up or wear a pair of high heels. I could always cuff them. It’s a lot of fun ways you can customize your overalls to make them unique.
