Meet Detroit Designer  Char Glover…

With the start of Project Runway Season 13, I was very excited to see one of Detroit’s own as a contestant. Designer Char Glover is giving the world a front-row view of the talent that resides in the Motor City. With her talent and creativity, I know she will go far in this competition.

When the models strutted down the runway wearing the designer’s pieces, there was no doubt, some serious competition.  But Char most definitely held her own. Her look stood out from the rest.  That yellow crop top with the pleated multi-colored skirt with pockets might I add, was “HAWT”.

 I can really see her look being worn by the average woman. It was versatile and could easily be mixed and matched. I loved her look and so did the judges, she received nothing but positive reviews. I’m happy she made it through to the next round. Though it’s just the beginning, I’m predicting that she’s going to win this competition and not just because she’s from Detroit, but because I think she has what it takes to make it to the top.
