Meet Designers Joe and Charlie Casely-Hayford
Casely-Hayford is a menswear line designed by father and son duo Joe and Charlie Casely-Hayford. The London based designers launched their line in 2009.
Joe has produced his own brand label for men and women since the mid-1980s. His collections have been seen on the runways in Paris, London, and Tokyo. He has done work for the film, ballet, and bespoke commissions for bands and artists in the music industry, dressing many leading celebrities. Joe’s signature style of original yet wearable clothing has been sold through stores worldwide.
Charlie has worked with Japanese publications and has contributed to a number of styling projects. He has styled and consulted with a number of projects internationally. After graduating with a degree in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute, he apprenticed under his father while styling musicians from the British band The xx to hip hop artist Nas. Together Charlie and his father launched a luxury menswear label Casely-Hayford, a brand based on English Sartorialism and British Anarchy.
“Their signature look fuses sportswear with tailoring and high art with street culture, realized by combining the finest craftsmanship with new technology.”
