Simple Skincare Review and Giveaway

Lately, I’ve been looking for a skincare line that can adjust to my changing needs. Unfortunately, the older I get, I’ve noticed that my skin is not responding to my previous skincare regimen like it used to. Living in Michigan, the winters can be very harsh on my skin, leaving my face feeling dry.  Another issue I was having is when I started working out on a regular basis.  My forehead started to break out, which became pretty noticeable. I was a bit upset because I’ve never had a problem with my skin, except for the occasional pimple here and there. Nothing I tried worked, but eventually, it cleared up. I did increase my water intake and stayed away from pop and juice. 

To make matters worse, I sometimes fall asleep with my mascara and eyeliner on, which I usually regret by the time I wake up. To make it easier on myself, I try to keep makeup remover wipes around, but at times I still manage to hit the hay with my eye makeup still intact.  

Now that I’m getting up there in age, I’m realizing how important it is to take care of your skin and Simple Skincare is making it much easier for me.

Simple Skincare Product Review:

• Simple Foaming Facial Wash – I’ve never been a fan of foaming facial washes, mainly because they don’t lather very well (the few that I’ve tried). I’m really big on facial cleaners that produce a good lather. The Simple Foaming Facial Wash was perfect. It has a thick lather that doesn’t require me to use a lot. This has quickly become my new go-to cleanser. It keeps my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It helps to eliminate impurities, clear pores, remove make-up and excess oil while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture and balance.

• Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 – Lately I’ve been using lotion as a moisturizer because I haven’t found moisture that I liked. After trying Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer, I could really feel a difference. I love how this moisturizer makes my skin feel. It moisturizes with a light non-greasy feel all while protecting my skin from UVA and UVB rays on sunny days.

• Simple Ultra-Light Gel Moisturizer  – This gel moisturizer provides instant hydration and goes on light, leaving my skin feeling very soft. It’s a great base for make-up as well. Perfect for both morning and night use. This one has become my favorite. 

• Simple Nourishing 24-Hour Day/Night Cream – I love this cream because it’s great for my nightly skincare routine. It nourishes thirsty skin for up to 24 hours, leaving my skin soft and hydrated. Great to use before bed and you’ll wake up with hydrated and nourished feeling skin.

• Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes – These convent wipes are perfect if you need an instant facial refresher or just want to wipe off your make-up. I use these to remove my lipstick at the end of the day.

• Simple Eye Make-up Remover Pads – These eye make-up remover pads are my favorite. Like some other wipes, these don’t make my eyelids feel greasy after my make-up is gone. These little wipes are very handy when it comes time to remove my mascara and eyeliner.
